Program Director

Camp Fire Green Country - Tulsa, OK | May 2022 – Present

As Program Director, I oversee the design, strategy, and execution of Camp Fire Green Country’s youth development programs, with a focus on creating inclusive, high-quality experiences for young people across Tulsa. I lead staff and AmeriCorps Members, build systems for program sustainability, and represent Camp Fire in community-wide coalitions and partnerships.

• Directed school-year clubs, summer initiatives, day camps, and special partnerships (TPS Ready, Set, Summer; Gathering Place activations; DVIS Summer Day Camp), reaching 250+ youth during the school year and 1,200+ during the busiest summer.
• Managed and mentored up to 6 staff and 13 AmeriCorps Members, creating month-long onboarding programs and continuous professional development opportunities to ensure consistent program quality.
• Designed and facilitated two annual Youth Leadership Retreats in collaboration with the Youth Leadership Team; mentored teens in leadership and advocacy.
• Restructured staffing and programming following the loss of state and AmeriCorps funding, sustaining programming and stabilizing the team through significant organizational change.
• Built and trained a Program Quality Assessment (PQA) team, leading staff development and continuous improvement processes that resulted in stronger outcomes and improved PQA scores.
• Strengthened organizational visibility and sustainability by cultivating partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and businesses; represent Camp Fire as a founding member of the Tulsa Youth Leadership Coalition.
• Oversaw data tracking and reporting for grants, edited proposals, and collaborated with leadership to provide accurate and compelling impact reporting to funders.
• Acted as a visible representative for Camp Fire within schools and community networks, ensuring alignment between organizational programming and community needs.

Senior High Youth Director

Boston Avenue United Methodist Church - Tulsa, OK | August 2021 to May 2022

• Work with the Lifelong Faith Formation Team to create a new age-span ministry system that engages families and individuals with meaningful experiences and classes
• Assess the volunteer needs for the Children's, Mid-High Youth, and Senior High Youth Departments and create a new volunteer system that engages, empowers, and trains current and new volunteers
• Run the day-to-day operations for the Senior High Youth Department while working with teams of volunteers, parents, and youth to construct and execute long-term goals
• Work with staff and volunteers to coordinate successful theater and choir programs for teenagers within Boston Avenue and teenagers that do not have a connection with Boston Avenue
• Execute a theologically sound, inclusive, meaningful, enjoyable, and age-appropriate ministry for Senior High Youth and families
• Work with the Lifelong Faith Formation Team to create, plan, and staff events of all sizes and types for people and families who may or may not have a connection with Boston Avenue
• Teach Sunday School classes, lead Wednesday Night activities, serve as a speaker or preacher for events and retreats, host volunteer trainings, create and lead cross-functional teams of staff and volunteers, and lead others as a team player
• Restructure the Senior High Youth Council to create relevant and meaningful job descriptions and positions of leadership using current teen leadership theories and research backed by The Barna Group and other generational research groups
• Assess the flaws in past and current Mid-High and Senior High Youth Departments' internal and external communication efforts and construct and execute a well-researched plan to upgrade communication efforts for current and potential students, volunteers, and families through email, texting services, and social media
• Assess the needs and create multi-stage plans for renovations and other upgrades to the Senior High Youth spaces while working with committees to stay on track and within the budget

Media Manager

Faith United Methodist Church - Tulsa, OK | October 2018 to July 2021

• Managed the church website, Faith Tulsa app, and the YouTube channel in coordination with program teams while optimizing guest experience and SEO
• Planned and executed social media strategy for Facebook and Instagram

Living Water United Methodist Church - Tulsa, OK | October 2018 to June 2021

• Coordinated, trained, and empowered volunteers of all ages and abilities to serve inside and outside Living Water
• Restructured the Children’s and Youth Ministries to better serve each age group while focusing on diverse learning styles

• Restructured the Sunday School Experience for our 6-12 Graders to make classes relevant and developmentally appropriate
